Otter Point, the gateway to Agate Beach, Bailey Beach, the tip of Otter Point, and a great day.
Otter Point is located just 3 miles north of Gold Beach on the Old Coast Highway. From the Otter Point parking lot you have access to Agate Beach to the north. You will access Agate Beach by using a worn out portion of the Oregon Coast Trail. Most likely you will be alone on Agate Beach...just you and the ocean.
Bailey Beach is located to the south of Otter Point. Access is via a reasonably well maintained portion of the Oregon Coast Trail. It's a simple hike easy enough for most folks.
And Otter Point is breathtaking. You are right above the ocean on a headland. You can see for millions of miles.
